OUR MASSAGE MENU

Remedial Massage

This massage is used to manage injured or over used muscles. It is also used as maintenance for active people and people with postural alignment problems. During the massage the muscles are assessed to detect abnormalities. Appropriate massage techniques (including deep tissue, trigger point massage, stretching and client education) are used to normalise muscle tension and realign joints.

Sports Massage

This type of massage is required as a pre- and post-event treatment and generally to assist with training and increased performance. It helps in the recovery from muscular fatigue. Deep tissue stretching and advanced sports massage techniques help to loosen tight muscle fibres and therefore increase performance. This is important for preventing injuries and increasing flexibility. This massage is also used to speed up the recovery from sports injuries.

Relaxation Massage

This massage is also known as Swedish Massage. It is a gentle massage using light pressure to stimulate relaxation, stress relief and detoxification. The techniques are all very soothing and leave you feeling refreshed, revitalised and energised.

Myofascial Release

Many patients seek myofascial treatment after losing flexibility or function following an injury. After a physical assessment, slow progressive manual massage techniques are applied to stretch the fascia and to release bonds between fascia, muscles and bones. The goal is to eliminate pain, increase range of motion and circulation and also to balance the body.

Pregnancy massage

A specialized pregnancy massage therapist will look after you and your bub in this massage.  You can enjoy the benefits of massage anytime after you are 12 weeks along.  Prior to 12 week gestation, you require a medical certificate from your doctor to receive treatment.  This massage helps to alleviate the stress and strain that your growing belly causes your body.
